I wish to thank you all.

As Informed drilling bore well also got finished. It was 85 Feet depth ( to be sate, it is drilled a bit more)

I am happy to inform you that today the registration of Drinking Water plant site is done under Gram panchayat
(registering under Grama Panchyat instead of Jaladi Grama bharathi Trust will have lot of advantages. Mainly very low cost for power consumption)

Registration involved,
Documentation work, Getting notaries, Catch hold of Panchayat secretary to registration office,
preparing stamp papers, getting NOC from Gram panchayat, bribing reg. officer, etc. etc.

Many thanks to GKL Rao for spending his summer time (almost 2 weeks)for this activity and completeing it today.
I do also wish to convey him Birth Day Wishes (May 25th)

We should also thank to the Land Donor whose name will be mentioned soon once after I confirm the same.

The only thing left here is to build the shed.
I insist the costs involved is not small as we think ( loading granite at the site, drilling bore well, Registration process, now building shed, and arranging the infrastructure to supply water)
I will posting the cost details soon in detail in our blog.

So, I request you to spread this word so quickly to our all villagers who stay on jobs
Respond as soon as possible to provide monetary help.

Some of our friends are able to spread this "work for a cause" to their friends who are not at all related to our Jaladi Village and getting promises for required help.
Then why can't we do this ourselves for our very own village. Please think for a while before you go away from this mail.

I do also have a concern about our villagers.
Unlike expected, we are not getting required help from our villagers (based on what I heard). It is so pity on those people who are not helping us.
As there are many contibutors and enthusiasts among ourselves, we should convince the villagers to participate in this project and future projects.
So, Anybody of our relatives who stay in Jaladi are willing to look after these things, please let me know.
If it is the other case, It will become a kind of commercial worj, appointing a labor todo the good work for our village. :-(

Borewell digged for water plant in Jaladi

Finalization of drinking water plant in JALADI

Hi All, I have sent you several messages through mobile phone. The solo motive is that to setup drinking water plant at the center of the Jaladi village(i.e. at Library). I am requesting sincerely everybody who is reading this message.

Please please communicate this good cause to all of our villagers. you may get surprise responses. I got few such kind responses. Sincere thanks to them.

I am not sure how many of us know the Tree plantation initiative that we did in last year and how successful it is.

Few contributed money and many more people participated actively to make the event grand success. I am posting the few results of that tree plantation event:


Believe me you no need to walk in mid sun by next summer if we proplerly put efforts growing these trees.

I need to upload many more photos. This photos are just few examples. We wish to show what we have done before I ask your help for next event. (Thanks to all who spent money and time for this tree plantation initiative. I will publish all those names in detail next time)


I would like to thank Ghanta Ramarao, Ganesuni Chandra Sekhar Babu, Jarugula Nageswara Rao and Jarugula Siva Nageswara rao for the contributions made and the enthusiasm shown for tree plantation program.

We should extend our sincere appreciations to manukonda srinivasa rao (who donated motor to supply water) and Jaladi youth who spent lot of energy cycles carrying trees, planting trees, attending gatherings, giving suggestions and spreading word.

What is Next?

On May 1st, 2011 few Jaladi people (We tried to call many people who stay in Hyderabad) to discuss the water plantation in Jaladi. We have already got machinery from Rotary club (Thanks to Ghanta Rama rao garu and Ganesuni Chandra Sekhar Garu). Place to setup water plant also finalized. The location is at library which is accessible to all in the village.

Next step is to look for donors to get monetary help. This is to drill bore well (This gives hard water which is input to the water plant) and to build Shed and other equipment. Estimated cost is some where between 1 lakh to 1.5 l\akh. So, Please join hands and extend your kind support to this event. If everything goes fine, next week the plantation will be started. I will keep updating this blog on the status, donor list etc. etc. Donors names will be written on the foundation stone.

Soft Water Plantation Intiative

We know lot of us has suggested the most sought after need in our village "Drinking Water" when we started Tree planation some months before.

It is a good news that Ghanta Rama Rao and GC Babu managed to get the water plant which converts hard water (borewell water) to soft water (drinking water). Glad to thank them at the first as part of total setup.

What is left to do?

1. We need to find place near Library (which is near and accessible to the whole village)-- Expected cost to buy 2 cents of place is Rs.50,000

2. We need to drill Bore well --Expected cost would be 50,000

3. Make shelter and Infrsstrucutre for the whole setup --Expected cost could be Rs.50,000

These are rough numbers and project cost could go beyond or less than that.
We need to join hands to collect this money.

On Ugadi, 4th April, 2011 (Monday), We will find out the place and find somebody in the village to look after all these issue.

The worst we can do to be part of this activity is to contribute some money and try to be coming to Jaladi on that day and give some suggestions.

Please spread this blog to all our villagers and friends.

This activity should be given immediate attention for the reason that summer is heating up the village already and Jaladians definitely will face difficuly find good, healty, florin free water at very cheaper or no price.

Proposal of Water Plant in Jaladi

I am very Happy to say this to all. I came to know from Chandra Sekhar Ganesuni (GC babu) that he got formal approval from "Rotary Club of Chilakaluripet" for the water plant with 1000 Litre/hour capacity. Things left are to find a place to build shelter for plant in the Village. Also, if required to setup bore-well.

We will get to know much about it this Sunday on 20th mar, 2011. So, I suggest we all should be there on that day.

Another good news is that all the trees planted in the village are alive. 100% trees that have tree-guards are waving their heads to show themselves to the better future of Jaladi. What else we want? I am personally thankful for the people who have participated on that day to carry trees, planting trees, pouring water and filling hope to all that we can do something. Few people who wanted to be part of that event and could not make it. Still we have lot more chances to make our village stand apart from others.

I agree starting things/activities is not important. To maintain the sustainability of these activities is more challenging. So, I beg you people who are criticizers. Try to help the activities. At the end of the day everybody of us will enjoy our Village.

Is our attempt on planting trees a Success or Failure?

The point is that people who work in Hyderabad are finding less time to visit Jaladi and update the status of tree growth. Anyway, this month 20th, i.e. 20-Mar-2011, we have the erection of Dwaja Stambam at Ghanta Papacharulu Matam. I will try to have the snapshots of all the trees and will post them in this blog. I will also inquire any other infrastructure is needed to beat this summer.

Please make it possible to visit the village on 20-Mar-2011, as it is a devotional activity and gives you and your family a good health doing Pooja there.
